Competitions - eGames Expo 2009


Competitions galore. eGames has become renowned for the amount of competitions that are available to participate in during the expo. Competition activity occurs throughout the expo, in zones such as the eSport Zone, the Kids Zone, the eSport Tournament area, the eGames Main Stage, the Animavericks Madman Cosplay competition, and in an array of exhibitor areas.

Beyond all of this exciting competition play there are also great prizes available to win just by walking in the door. Remember to fill in your entry form as you walk in to go into the running to win. A comprehensive list of prizes that will be up for grabs will be listed shortly. Good luck!


Monash University's Retro Game Tournament

Three days of Retro Game Challenges - from Donkey Kong to Goldeneye and more. Last year's winners played Goldeneye and Mario Kart N64 - many more games will be present in 2009.

High School eSport League

Presented by Faculty of Information Technology Monash University

High School students from around Australia are invited to join the league. This League is for high school students from Year 9 - Year 12 only. If you enjoy playing games, are interested in becoming a professional gamer or enjoy team based activities, get more information here.

 


Imperial League Tournament

Once again Primal Clarity Producation will be hosting an Imperial League Tournament (Steel Halo) at the Egames Expo.

Last years winners Sam and Jack will attempt to defend their 2008 Title.
